“The bottom line is that it’s not up to the client to have to change to do business with you. Instead, it’s up to the entrepreneur to understand every facet of their own mindset so that they can adapt,” said Merit. “One of the best pieces of advice I got when I was an early entrepreneur was to learn everything you can about other people.”
Sales is a relationship business, after all. So, don’t just study your industry, your products, your services. You need to really understand other people and know how they operate and make decisions.
